Shipping & Returns
Products ordered from this Internet site are intended to be shipped only to locations within the mainland United States. Shipping methods for orders from Petey's Tackle are dependent upon size, weight, and location restrictions. Items that require special handling because they exceed shipping size restrictions or are extremely heavy may be restricted to locations within the mainland United States available by trucking routes. Orders may be delivered via United States Postal Service (U.S. Mail) or United Parcel Service (UPS). Unfortunately, there is no way for customers to request a specific shipper for their order.
If you do not live in the mainland United States, we can ship to you, however additional charges will be added. For shipments to Hawaii, Alaska or Canada, please e-mail us directly for a shipping quote, by providing us the product name and item number, and your shipping address. If you live outside the mainland United States and mistakenly place an order with us, we will try to contact you via email with a shipping quote to your address provided. You must respond back to us that you confirm the shipping quote, or your order will not be processed.
Shipping and Handling Costs
Within our online store checkout process, shipping and delivery costs are calculated for you, and these costs have been included in the total price you see displayed. After placing your order, our order fulfillment department will determine a delivery date estimate, and this information will be sent to you in a shipping confirmation e-mail. You must fill in all of the address information for your order to be shipped. Your order can not be shipped without a full address.
Petey's Tackle guarantees all of our products to be free of defects and workmanship. If you receive an item and it is defective, we will replace it with an identical item at no charge. If you want to return any item for any other reason, you may do so within 60 days of the receipt of your order, and you will be credited a refund less a 15% restocking fee on that returned item.
Before returning any item, you must first contact us by e-mail, and request a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. Without this code number, you cannot return an item. To obtain a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER, you need to provide the following information in your e-mail:
- Invoice Number (this is absolutely necessary!)
- Complete Name and Address (this is the original location your order was shipped)
- Daytime and Evening Telephone Numbers
- Fax Number, if applicable
- Reason for Return
You must ship the item you wish to return at your expense. Petey's Tackle will not pay for any freight charges incurred from returning any item, for any reason. If you return any item without prior approval, there is a possibility you could lose your merchandise and no credit will be given. Remember, after 60 days following the date you received your order, you cannot return any item, for any reason whatsoever. There are no exceptions to the restocking policy whatsoever.
